25 hexipuffs complete in 20 days! That means that it is time for my first goal completion gift (prize?) of acquiring more mini-skeins for this project! I looked back at my previous thread about mini packs I was interested in purchasing and decided on the “repeatable colors, an assorted pack of hand dyed sock yarn minis” from Three Fates Yarn on Etsy.
But lo and behold, it has been sold. Argh! The yarn gods were not on my side, bummer I did reach out to the seller to see if there was anyway to replicate the 24 mini-skein set through a custom order. I will likely wait to hear back from her before proceeding to purchase another set elsewhere. Lord know I have enough mini-skeins on hand to keep me busy. So onto my next goal of 50 hexipuffs!
Update – I heard from the Etsy owner of Three Fates Yarn and she is happy to work with me on a custom order! Yippee! It may take a bit longer to receive these minis, but I definitely think it will be worth it! We are figuring out colors now.

I love that big glass jar as a place to store your hexipuffs – I might have to get one for my granny square collection! It must be nice to be able to see them as you go along, and not have them buried in a cupboard somewhere.
Exactly! They are showcased instead of hiding in a knitting bag. I highly recommend getting a big glass jar.
I’m glad you’re sorting out your prize 😛 I’m using specifically hexipuff yarn and leftovers. When I finish a specific ball my prize is that I’m allowed to buy another one, I’ve only managed to finish ONE since I started in January because I must knit all the colours.
Can’t wait to get my new yarn! I have a feeling that the cost will extend to include my next 50 puff goal too.
I have the shortest attention span when it comes to knitting so it is nice that lots of shops are offering mini-skeins with just enough yarn for one puff, haha.
